My Hometown

 I'm Kodama Kumi. I'm form Shobara City in Hiroshima. 

 I introduce my hometown, Shobara. Shobara City is located in the north of Hiroshima Prefecture. Bihoku Hillside Park is famous and the winter illumination are very beautiful. I'd like to go there with my college friends in this winter! It takes 1 hour and 30 minutes by car from Saijo, so please drive with your friends!  

 And Hibagon is also famous. It is unidentified creatures and looks like monkey. It was found in 1970 and became national news.  And sweet called Hibagon's egg are delicious, so if you go to Shobara, buy them and try them.

    Yes, I've been to the winter illumination, climbed a couple of mountains there, and I like Kimita Hotspring!

    Try to write A LOT in your blog this year about things that you like! If you do, your English writing skills will improve!

My Hobby

       My hobby is playing the violin. I have been learning the violin since I was in elementary school. The violin is difficult to take accurate pitch and make a beautiful sound. In addition, there are various playing styles, and it is difficult to practice. For example, plucking the strings with my fingers, playing with overtones, and playing with double stops.       Paganini is famous for the violin composer. He has already died, but he has a lot of legends. He was unusual that he was said to be sold his soul by the devil.  His Caprice No.24 is especially famous. However, the difficulty is very high. But it is a powerful and impressive song, so I want to be able to play it someday. For that purpose, I have to practice more hard.

How To Make Macarons!

      My favorite sweets are macarons. We can taste many kind of flavor. I had eaten it for the first time was I was 7years old, and I often make with my mother. It is so difficult, but tastes was good. Please try to make macarons! 1.  Sieve the powdered sugar and almond powder together and put in a bowl. 2. Mix egg white and granulated sugar and whip with a hand mixer. 3. Beat egg whites until they form hold stiff peaks with boiling. 4. Mix 1 and 3 so as to crush the bubbles is the most important. 5. Put the dough in a pastry bag and squeeze it on the baking tray. 6. Wait about 1 hour at room temperature to dry the surface. 7. Keep the oven warm to 150 degrees and bake for 13 minutes. 8. After baking, remove the rough heat and sandwich the cream.      If you make macarons, I want to eat!! So try when you have enough time to make macarons. And spent excellent time.
